The Artisans Center of Virginia and the Virginia Tourism Corporation are again linking arms to raise awareness and elevate the exposure of Virginia’s artisans and their creative communities all across the Commonwealth throughout the month of October. Join us as we kick off the month with American Craft Week, the largest celebration of handcrafted works in the country.
The Allure Art Center Outdoor Artisan Show is designed to showcase local artisans and encourage visitors to discover and experience their works, while helping to tell the story of Virginia’s vibrant artisan culture. Be sure to join us.
Come join us for our Artisan Market Series featuring some of the finest artisan in the region who will be displaying their fine hand crafted works of art.
Allure Art Center will have an outdoor artisan show that will feature local regional artists showing their works as well as several doing demonstrations. A silver smith jeweler will be demonstrating his “viking knit” – sterling silver wire woven into necklaces and more, a wood worker demonstrating his process of creating his windsor chairs, and a sculpture artist demonstrating her process of creating unique and whimsical creations. The fine art gallery and new artisan shops will also be open showcasing some of the regions finest artists.
