Drawing on the age old wisdoms of Homer’s story, Mr. Tyson presents a one man show with a cast of hundreds – give or take 90. He borrows from a variety of theatrical forms including: theatre, magic, stand-up, storytelling, & improv. Be prepared for a fast paced, engaging, and entertaining tale that seeks to answer the question: “How do I get home from here?”
Join the fool who must overcome his own hubris and folly; the deceits and villainy of others; and even death itself, as he seeks to reclaim his life.
David Tyson (MFA/MA): is the Artistic Director of his own, “Weaver of Tales Theatre Company.” He has been performing for over twenty years, and has worked at various festivals, schools, and theaters throughout the USA including stints at: NYC’s acclaimed LaMama Theater, Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida, and at the Toronto Fringe Theatre Festival. He has extensive experience in “Popular” and Physical Theatre forms and techniques including: Commedia Dell’Arte, Clown, Mime, Melodrama, Stage Combat, and Improvisational theatre.
