Plein Air Painting Workshop with award winning artist Maria Reardon. Saturday May 2nd, 9am – 4pm – COst $95 per person. This Landscape painting workshop will be spent painting on location in White Stone VA. You will meet at Allure Art Center 419 Rappahannock Drive, White Stone, VA 22578
Several topics will be covered…the importance of how to start a painting , gathering essential information and editing in the field in order to create a finished painting while on location or for use for studio paintings. Exercises will be used to help simplify the painting process and to establish design, drawing, values and color.
Students should come prepared with supplies for possibly doing a couple of paintings. Maria will create a demonstration painting and work with students individually on their paintings throughout the day.
Participants can chose to work in oils or soft pastels.
Workshop is open to all skill levels but geared towards beginning to intermediate experience.
